WPA is the nation's first organization for women impacted by incarceration.

Our approach is personal. We address the root causes of systems involvement, analyze the data and focus on the nuances.

Founded in 1967, The Fortune Society’s vision is to foster a world where those who are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated will thrive as positive, contributing members of society. We do this through a holistic, one-stop model of service provision. 

Our continuum of care, informed and implemented by professionals with cultural backgrounds and life experiences similar to those of our participants, helps ensure success. We serve thousands of individuals annually via our expanding New York locations: our service centers in Long Island City, Queens and Morrisania, the Bronx, as well as several housing residences throughout the city. Our program models are recognized both nationally and internationally for their quality and innovation.

UPZ Global’s main goals are to counter the landfill crisis by redirecting the transport and sorting of food waste, reduce the carbon footprint through the production of sustainable and compostable products, renewable energy production, empower and employ women, and comply with legislation that is moving toward a green, clean planet. 

Pilot Dogs help people who are blind or visually impaired achieve greater independence and mobility. Because of generosity of our donors, we are able to provide exceptional guide dogs, handler training, orientation & mobility training, on-campus housing, room and board, and so much more, all completely free for our students.

The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology educates leaders to make a positive contribution to the community and prepares them for success.

Our goal in this evolving complex global business environment is to nurture ethical reasoning skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, data and technology literacy, and global perspectives through student-focused  teaching, experiential learning and
impactful research.

Clean Water Initiative

The Everglades Foundation is the nation's only science-based non-profit dedicated to protecting and sustaining the Florida wetlands. The Everglades Foundation leads efforts to restore and protect the greater Everglades ecosystem for its irreplaceable environmental and economic value, including Florida's water supply which supplies clean water to nearly 9 million Floridians. The Everglades are also essential to critical sectors of Florida’s economy, such as real estate, tourism, and fishing.
